A backflow preventer's whole job is to make sure water only ever flows one direction — from the clean municipal supply into your home or irrigation system, never the other way. Without one, a drop in city water pressure can pull contaminated water from a hose, irrigation system, or fixture back into the drinking supply. Most municipalities, including many in the greater Nashville area, require backflow devices on irrigation systems and certain commercial connections, along with annual testing.

We install, repair, and annually test backflow preventer assemblies like the one pictured — sized and configured to your property's specific cross-connection risk — and provide the test documentation your water utility or inspector requires.
